Vermont 2025
Thanks to all those who supported our work this past week with pastors and their families from Vermont. Our team of 18, from 5 different churches, led the retreat at a campground near Rumney, New Hampshire. Interestingly, the camp was founded in 1895 and once had Billy Graham as a youth camp preacher in the 1940’s.
We had 6 pastors and their families join us for 4 days of
fun, relaxation, inspiration, and conversation. We spent time in the lake, ate wonderful meals provided by our cook team, had long talks before, during and after meals, and worshipped together. Our children’s team led specific time with the kids each day. We had time each day for pastors to meet together and for their wives to meet together. It was encouraging to talk about ministry and life with others who are facing many of the same challenges.
This is one of the best mission trips we take each year. We’ve seen God moving through the lives of Christian leaders. Those who came 2 years ago in a state of
depression and shock are now seeing God move in their churches and are experiencing great victory in their ministries. We have churches in Texas that are now seriously talking about how to partner in Vermont.
We have 1 year left on our original 5 year partnership with the churches in Vermont. Next year we will consider the next steps we should take as an association. Pray that the Lord continue to give us wisdom and discernment.
