Welcome to the Unity Baptist Association website!

Our fifty churches in East Texas are an active fellowship of churches serving one another and cooperating together to help fulfill the Great Commission through four major priorities. First, we strengthen churches through training, senior adult ministry, consulting, assisting with church ministries and administration, leader development and the use of our evangelism block party trailer.

We also have a ministry on the Angelina College campus through our Bible classes and Baptist Student Ministry. Our building on the campus enables us to impact the lives of hundreds of students every week.

Missions are a very important priority. Currently we have five mission churches in our area.

Finally, we have a disaster relief ministry. Our feeding unit has the capacity to prepare 20,000 meals per day. In the past four years our unit has prepared over one million meals for victims of hurricanes, tornadoes and fires in Alabama, Louisiana and Texas.  See the ministries and resources page for details of all our ministries.

DISCIPLEFIRST FORUM

Most churches understand that “making disciples” should be at the core of what they do. However, many churches struggle with exactly how to do that. Craig Etheredge at FBC Colleyville has done an excellent job in developing a disciple making model of making disciples which he has used to train many churches.

Craig will be leading a disciple making forum at FBC Corrigan on November 1, 10:00 a.m. – 2:30 p.m. This will be a great training event, so register to attend by clicking this link: https://disciplefirst.com/events/?event=43
